Hamilton PAWS, in collaboration with community case managers and the social service sector, provides support and community referrals to individuals with pet companions. Each situation is assessed and a community plan is developed to ensure the needs of both the animal companion and the owner are met. Using supports and services available in the community, the focus of the plan is to keep individuals and their pet companions together.
